Gold winter sun

The scene is a winter evening at Bosham Quay on the south coast of England, but not the usual one with the church spire, instead we are looking back to shore further along from an old boat at low tide. The boat's perspective leads the eye back to the quayside. The title comes from a line in Philip Larkin's poem 'Winter', the whole scene suffused in golden light.
